There are a lot of people in the world which think the whole issue regarding the safety issues with Toyota vehicles was a huge media stunt by the US government. This is because American car manufacturers were struggling to sell vehicles in the USA and international car manufacturers were increasing their market share. This included new and used Honda vehicles, VW, Mercedes and a number of other car manufacturers which were not American. I’m sure this conspiracy theory is literally a conspiracy theory but the US government did seem to escalate the story about Toyota quite dramatically for example telling Americans to stop driving Toyota vehicles.

At the beginning of the year Toyota had a few problems to say the least in the USA. There were supposedly a few issues about health and safety regarding the accelerator and brake pedal in a number of models which Toyota produced. Later on in the year new and used Honda vehicles were scrutinised regarding a similar problem. It seems though looking back on the whole scenario that the US government did emphasise not to purchase Toyota vehicles because of the safety problems. I feel sorry for new and used Honda and Toyota because of what the US government did.

There are a number of new and used Honda vehicles in the world at the moment. They have had some problems with various issues in terms of production line issues. This is unfortunate because in my experience of owning a new and used Honda Jazz and Civic respectively I have not had any real problems with the vehicles. I really do love Honda as a car manufacturer because of the way they operate the value for money and that I have never really experienced a major problem with Honda in terms of having to get my car fixed at any time.
